Transceiver IC number

In that document, it is not mentioned about the transceiver number. I thought if anyone has worked on the hardware side may know about it.
I am concerned with the communication of router with other devices. Can you guide me? My task is to understand the initial setup of router with the other wireless devices.

Oh I didnt mean that. I meant that can you tell me from the software point of view about the communication of router with the wireless devices. Like e.g When a wireless device wants to communicate with the router then definitely it will do through the hardware.
But there should be some code written that would invoke some other parts of the router or configure the router.
