hello evryone :) i amgine i have a simple stupid question but im just not sure so i thought I would ask. I have kongs dd-wrt running on my R7000. so theres an update at http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-Arm/ and ive read that the chk is for for fist time installing? and the bin is for updating BUT my question here is that i dont see a "bin link" over there that has R7000 written in it? there a bin download with R8000 but thats not my router? does anyone have any clarification?

Well thanks for the response...... I have read many many post and still have many more to read and learn. Im actively looking for the answer. Just thought I'd ask a simple question and see if someone wanted to help.
The Kong site link you provided has several links toward the bottom of the directory page. The R7000 bin file update is the ".STD" file extension. Take a look at the supported models file and you'll see that the "STD.bin" file supports several routers for DD-WRT, already installed, including the R7000. There's no specific R7000 bin file.
