USB 3.0 Port on R6300v2 will not support USB3.0 hub

USB 3.0 Port on R6300v2 will not support USB3.0 hub

So I have the latest build on the router and both USB ports will run my Seagate 5 TB drives just fine. The issue is that the USB 3.0 port will not support a USB 3.0 Hub. The hub works perfect on my laptops and the drives do too. The USB 3.0 hub will also work in the USB 2.0 port on the router along with the two drives. Anybody know why there would be a difference?
