I've noticed some of the newer builds of firmwares support a printer on the USB port of the WNR3500L. Will a computer on the network that has access to the printer be able to run the printer's status monitoring software which has utilities such as low ink, print head alignment, nozzle cleaning, etc?
I just bought this router about a week ago and like it a lot so far. I am currently running the Netgear updated firmware but am reading up as much as I can to decide which other firmware build and version I want to install (mini, standard, big). I don't need attached storage or DLNA (I have a seperate media server), but might put a printer on it.
