Do you have the R7000 router or the EX7000 extender, or maybe the C7000? Because these are different products. Please be specific and accurate when asking for support. We don't have magic balls here...

That's a DOCSIS cable Modem-Router combo. I assume you got it from your ISP? Is so, you can't upgrade its firmware as that's done by the ISP only.
