What I want to do is

is attach my 1.5TB hard drive to the available USB port on the router, stream movies to my PS3slim and my computers upstairs which for the moment are Wireless G but will be wireless N soon. My PS3 is hardwired to the gigabit port.

The firmware I currently have installed is

I have been googling around on what to do next to enable the PS3 Slim so that it can see the hard drive as a media server. I also want write functionality to it so I can rip my movies directly to the drive over the network without having to disconnect it from the router.

I see that ushare can do what I am hoping to accomplish but it's requiring some sort of optware package? HUH? Like I said i'm a noob with custom router firmware. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to set this up? I don't know whether or not these files need to be listed on the external hard drive or the router itself. Please if there is a howto guide for this please send me the link.

BTW my harddrive is formatted as NTFS and is USB 2.0
