Where can i start to play with DD-WRT on Nighthawk?

Where can i start to play with DD-WRT on Nighthawk?

I am a newbie of DD-WRT but I would like to install it into my netgear Nighthawk router and add some new server features and USB and eSATA ports by myself.

Could you please help me to know where should I go first?

I don't know about all of the features you are wanting.  But you can Install DD-WRT Kong Mod on R8000 Nighthawk X6 by going here:
