WiFi 802.11ac: Will your next wireless router be an 802.11ac router?

There's been a lot of excitement around the Internet lately about the new 802.11ac wireless/WiFi standard. It promises up to three times the speed of Wireless-n (802.11n), essentially giving gigabit wireless speeds.

Recently, NETGEAR announced the R6300 wireless router, one of the first to use this new standard.

Are you planning on jumping on board right away? Do you believe in the new technology, or is it just too soon to tell? Let us know what you think.

No plans to jump on board

No plans to jump on board really, the 802.11ac is in the 5Ghz band, so it faces the same problem as 5Ghz N does currently, no range, and seeing how the wifi alliance doesn't support the 2.4Ghz HT40 setting anymore, i'm fine with what i have now. Also FYI, buffalo's 802.11ac unit is already available at newegg.
