Just wondering if anyone has recently purchased a WNR3500L with a 6-Pin Header installed? Are the newest ones on the shelves still shipping without the header?
so far I have 2 with no header just the holes on the board. i bricked the first one trying to get mega dd-wrt on it -- when I finally got it opened ( needs torx 6 not 7) no header. Hope to see instructions for de-bricking when we do not have a header.
Some of the earlier runs of the WNR3500L did not include this pin header. I was informed that this was resolved for later production, so "newer" WNR3500L's should include it, to my knowledge.
I did write up an article on how to install headers in a WNR3500L that doesn't have them--even for a soldering noob like myself, it was pretty simple.

Any update on this? My router does not have the header either.
