WNR3500L | DD-WRT | USB

Router-Model: Netgear WNR3500L
Firmware: DD-WRT v24-sp2 (04/07/10) big
USB-Harddrive: Matrox Basics Desktop Storage 1TB

I already enabled the USB-support on my router but the drive doesn't show up.
How do i manually mount the drive on startup?

What filessystem is this

What filessystem is this drive using ext, fat, ntfs?

Do you know how to login via putty or ssh?
If you do, then just do a :

tail -f /var/log/messages

then connect the drive to the usb port. Just tell us the messages that you will see.

Filesystem is ntfs.
tail - f /var/log/messages tells me nothing when connecting the drive.
The drive is working correcty when connected e.g. to my laptop and the original netgear-firmeware managed to handle the drive too.
I now tried to connect different usb devices and none of them is working...
