I have an IPad and want to connect it via DLNA Client to a DLNA Server -> the WNR3500L. I also have an external HDD where the Data should Be stored.
I want to connect this HDD via USB to the WNR3500L.
Now i need to configure the WNR3500L to Be a DLNA Server and present the Data from the connected external HDD via WLAN.
Is this possible? If Yes, how?
Both dd-wrt (dlna-build) or tomato will do the job. They both include minidlna + a webinterface to configure it.

Is there a Guide to Format the USB HDD when you only have a Mac as Computer? I flashed the dd-WRT Kong Build. Everything Works Great except the external HDD on the USB.. I only have a Mac As Computer BTW.
