Won't start

I want to change DD-wrt to tomato so i made everything what is wrote on http://www.myopenrouter.com/article/10496/How-To-Switch-Firmwares-on-the...

Everything went good without point 6.
My netgear don't want to giveme any ip address so i can't connect with tftp any idea how to fix it ? Hard Reboot don't fix it

The procedure in the article

The procedure in the article erases the router's Linux partition, which also erases the DHCP server that gives you an IP address. Without Linux, the router can only run its CFE boot loader code.

Try configuring your PC/laptop with static IP, 192.168.1.10, then try ping 192.168.1.1 (the router), and then tftp.

Heh i made that and upload tomato.chk but green power led is stil blinking any idea what's going on ?

I upload it via tftp exactly

I upload it via tftp exactly tftp > connect 192.168.1.1 put toma.....chk then show me that file was uploaded and nothing gona change

Have you tried tftp put with the Netgear factory firmware?

After the tftp put completes, I believe you still have to wait (give it at least 15 minutes) for the router to reprogram its flash.

If restoring the factory firmware doesn't work, then I think you'll have to wire up a serial console to the router to determine what's really happening with the tftp.
