LED half brightness. Router bricked?

I was having some wifi issues so restarted my router. Noticed that the power light stays amber but it is at half brightness.

With nothing connected,
2.4ghz, 5ghz, usb1 and usb 2 lights are also on and at half brightness.

Reboot sequence:
1. Internet, eth1,2,3,4 lights lit full brightness for 2 seconds,

2. Power amber, 2.4ghz 5ghz usb 1 lit half brightness for 2 seconds

3. Usb2 light comes on half brightness power amber light inceases brightness slightly but still dimmed

The internet light is dimmed when wan port is connected (both amber and white)

When a LAN port is connected, I get full brightness white and amber lights.

Tried to factory reset but reset button seems to have no effect.

Pinging 192.168.1.1 gives me destination host unreachable

Cannot get the router into recovery mode so unable to do a tftp flash.

Not sure what else to do. Is it worth buying a ttl cable at this point and try via serial connection? Or trash this router and buy a new one.

Do you have an extra power

Do you have an extra power supply you can test with and see if that is the issue?

Yup tried it, did not work. It was one of the first things considering the half brightness.

You can try a TTL cable, they

You can try a TTL cable, they are cheap enough and it should tell you what is happening during boot. By your description of the LED's the router seems to have a hardware problem.
