Netgear released three security advisories asking everyone to update. I was trying to find information about whether DD-WRT is vulnerable or not. Is there a way to know the version of netgear firmware that my dd-wrt firmware is based on ( if that's a thing )?
Otherwise, how can I know if my version is not vulnerable?

Thanks!
I was hoping to find more information about this as well. I have not found anything on any other forums or websites yet. My guess is that it's only the Netgear firmware and not the DD-WRT, but older versions of DD-WRT or other firmware may have their own security vulnerabilities that regularly get patched. Obviosly now that KonK is not doing the updates we will need to get them elsewhere. I am going to attempt to upgrade my r7000 with beta versions of brainslayers DD-WRT firmware. https://dd-wrt.com/support/other-downloads/?path=betas%2F2020%2F
Apparently there is no way of editing posts or I can't find it. So...
Corrections: *obviously *KONG
Found a post on the DD-WRT forum about it. Sounds like DD-WRT does a better job with security updates than Netgear.

Any word on how that BETA went?
Got one of these coming in tomorrow, and was considering one of the later builds, but don't want to run the risk of missing features on a beta as it's going to be handling some pretty high priority traffic.
