Hello,
as others here my R7000P is bootlooping so I ordered an USB-TTL adapter for serial connection.
But I wondered about the PINs in the R7000P, I am not sure if they are configuerd the same way as in a R7000.
Posted 2 Pictures here: https://postimg.cc/gallery/36fc481us/
PIN 1 is on the right side in opposit to here: https://www.myopenrouter.com/article/how-debrick-or-recover-netgear-r700...
(where PIN 1 is to the left side)
So, which one are GND, TX and RX?
Many thanks!
Hello,
just wanted to give a short update on debricking my R7000P(for any who is interested)
The Pins in my R7000P are(from left to the right with the LEDs underneath): RX - TX - GND - VCC
I borrowed a multimeter and, after watching youtube metered(?)oh my engish) the PINs.
So, after waiting an eternity for the TTL thing,I did the rest as given here:
https://www.myopenrouter.com/article/how-debrick-your-wnr3500lv2-using-w...
Put it short: It worked!
So, router is up and running, now I can try with DD-WRT again......
