can't connect to the internet

i just bought my wgr614v8 and today the internet provider came and installed the internet. i pluged in the internet cable in the router and then conected it to my laptop trough no 4 port. i run the wizard and all went well except i can't connect to the internet. i can connect to the router, the wireless reciver on the laptop reciver signal from the reouter but no interent. plsss help
