Is there any open source DD-WRT firmware available for the
Netgear Nighthawk AC1900 Model R6900 Router?
Is the R6900 similar enough to R7000 that the Kong firmware could be applied to it?

Did you ever figure this out? I am looking at purchasing from the R6900 from Costco in hopes of loading DD-WRT. ...but I'm a newbie, and would have a little more confidence going in if I'd seen someone else already had success!
