Does the Kong Mod take advantage of the improved wireless features in the stock firmware?

I don't see the wifi signal stength has difference with Kong Mod. However, you might need to change the channel to make all 3 channels signal strong. I use 48 and 153 for 5Ghz channels which stock firmware uses.
