Difference between v8/L and v9

Can anyone tell me if there is a difference between the v8/L and the v9?

There is. WGR614v9 is almost

There is. WGR614v9 is almost similar to WGR614v8 but it has only 2MB of flash and usually not enough to run most open source replacement firmwares. Of course there are some firmwares that may work with this limited flash. I am not sure but it is likely that SDRAM is also lower there.

Well my brand new 614L v9

Well my brand new 614L v9 claims 240mhz CPU, 4MB Flash and 16MB Ram. funny some of the boxes in the store have a logo indicating there is an internal antenna and some don't. I got the one that did. but no idea if it's cross compat.

Hi scott,

WGR614L v9 has only 2MB of flash memory .... 4MB flash is available in v8 ... First make sure if u really have a v9 ....

As far as cross compatibility is concerned I dnt have much knowledge abt it right now but one thing I can say is that most of the open source firmwares avlbl here for WGR614L/v8 will not work on v9 due to its limited amount of flash ...
