I completed the dd-wrt install process without incedent on my WGR614v8 router. However i cannot aquire an IP address. I have tried downgrading to two previous firmware versions that have been listed as stable for this unit with the same result. The problem is independent of the routers physical connection as I have gone through the entire clone MAC process and had it directly behind the modem as well as put it behind a functioning router with DHCP. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

which dd-wrt build u r using ..... Is DHCP enabled in this build .... It may be that DHCP is not enabled and that's why u r not able to get an IP address from a DHCP enabled router ....
