Can anyone tell me please where i can buy a WNR3500L??? In Europe the advertized delivery dates are repeatedly delayed and delayed. Is it available e.g. in the US and where to buy?
Well, I can definitely certify that the router is indeed real :) If you read any of my reviews or how-tos on the site, you can see the router in the flesh.
The router should be available soon, as far as I know, but it is true that it has been delayed a bit past what was originally expected. It is not yet shipping in the US, either. Keep your eyes open so you can snag one as soon as they arrive!
I've clicked through every reseller link for the U.S., I can't find the wnr3500l in stock anywhere. Anyone have any suggestions? Am I missing something simple?
I'm glad to hear that everybody's excited. I can't really give any more specific dates (since I don't actually know for sure) but when I say soon, I don't really mean "forever," based on what I've heard :)
Keep watching the site and if you want to hear right away, subscribe to our news RSS feed, it will be announced there.

I can confirm that the RAM is 64 MB. I got the device end of last year in germany. But if I would reconsider I would buy a device from ASUS RT-N16 (MUCH more memory) and two usb ports. The price is a little bit higher but anyway.
What I cannot confirm is that the CPU clock is 480 MHz. DD-WRT just show 453 MHz.
Sorry but the UK is not part of the USA. Importing from a US supplier is a PITA. Wrong power supply, dubious warranty, and don't talk to me about VAT and customs.
Why is it US suppliers think they are helping buy putting a false low value on the customs paperwork ? Customs only open it up and check the invoice inside, then give me grief big time. Four times now I've had to argue that I didn't ask the shipper to make a false declaration.
Besides unless the exchange rate has changed recently that is expensive.
Still UK ETA is now talking about 16th Feb although I don't hold out a lot of hope, I might go with the ASUS. They've missed the window of opportunity to sell several to work in any case.
I don't know what stores are available where you are. I just purchased one at Staples here in Calif. Don't know if this info is of any help, but the WNR3500l is definatly available.

For purchasing in the UK, you might want to take a look at NETGEAR's authorized online and brick & mortar reseller lists: http://www.netgear.co.uk/buy_overview.php

You haven't missed anything, anonymous, it's coming very soon! We'll be sure to announce it here when it ships.
will the router be available in the whole EU at the same time? and can you be a little bit more precise than "very soon", please? ;)

How reliable is this link?

If it is to be believed, the WNR3500L has more RAM and flash than the WNR3500. Does anyone have an authoritative source?
Not sure if it is true, but my WNR3500v2 has 32 MB according to DD-WRT.
Looks like delivery has been pushed back to March 2010 on every site I know in the UK :(
Also can anyone confirm the RAM size ? Some sites say 64MB other say 32MB.
