Unblock ports

Can anyone help me unblock ports 80 and 8080 on my wnr2000v2 router? Currently i can access only my netflix wireless receiver and I would like to be able to connect to my Direct TV wireless receiver.

Thanks,

Dennis

Sorry, I am not very

Sorry, I am not very sophisticated at this stuff. The ports are blocked, probably from me resetting the router by sticking a pin the little hole on the back, like I was told to do by Netgear. Obviously it didn't work. Now the Direct TV people say that I have unblock the ports but they don't know how.
I'm very stuck at this point and could sure use some help.
Thanks

Are you talking about

Are you talking about accessing your DirectTV device from inside your network, or outside it?

I'm talking about accessing

I'm talking about accessing my direct TV device using my one and only desktop computer. My Netgear router is not sending a signal to the Direct TV devise. Currently, my Netgear router has only 1 of 4 lights on and is sending only to my Netflix devise. I guess there are 4 ports on my router and I would like to open one more.

Thanks

Then there is nothing to do

Then there is nothing to do on the router - if both devices are connected to the LAN ports on the router then the router itself isn't doing anything (normally, there are exceptions).

If the lights aren't on for the direct TV device check the cable - try one you know to work with other devices.

My router is wireless. There

My router is wireless. There are no cables to my netflix device or my Direct TV device. My netflix device is receiving signals from my router, but my Direct TV device is not receiving signals. The Direct TV device is a Linksys wga600n. The power light is on, the ethernet light is on, but the wireless light is not on. It is not receiving a signal from my Netgear wireless router.

Thanks for help.
