WNR3500L: Disable wireless config

Greetings all,
rather noob question here. Trying to find a simple fix in the WNR3500L running native Netgear firmware. How do I disable router config access over wireless? i.e. router config should only be possible with clients connected via ethernet cables.

Most other vendor (linksys, d-link) and 3rd part firmwares (DD-WRT is the only one I know) offer this feature with a single check mark, but I am unable to find any option in WNR3500L native netgear firmware (already updated to latest version)
Please advise and thanks,

Hi Tathagata,

Hi Tathagata,
the block services option does not have enough granularity to let me block router config access to all wireless clients. Is it possible for netgear to implement this feature in the next firmware update? To me as a user, the option to disable wireless config access seems like the most basic/simple security measure to prevent router tampering. Would Netgear consider implementing such a feature?
Please advise and thanks,

Hi Tathagata,

Hi Tathagata,
I appreciate your forwarding my feature request to the firmware team. To answer your question, I do need wireless at home and I intend to use my wireless network with both WPA2 and MAC address filtering. However, passwords can be broken and MAC addresses can be spoofed, the surest means to prevent someone outside my home from tampering with my router settings is to limit router config access to wired/LAN port clients only.
Thanks,
