Format USB thumbstick for ext3

Hi all,

I'm running Kongs latest build of DD-WRT (build 17140M) and have a USB thumbstick plugged in with NTFS partition.  After reading that ext3 is recommended, is there a way I can reformat that USB through the router (terminal)?  Or do I have to hunt down a Linux box and do it that way? Thanks for the help!

Hi Pamela,

Hi Pamela,

there are no extutils included in the firmware, so you either need a windows partition tool, like partition magic or you just use a linux live cd.
One of my favourite:

Sorry for the late reply. I went ahead and just reformatted the USB with an install of Linux. It's working great now!
