WNR3500L ram discrepancy/questions

I have been looking around for a powerful router for running dd-wrt or tomato, and I had initially dismissed the WNR3500L in favor of the asus RT-N16, mainly because of the higher ram available in the asus. However, looking at the netgear page for the WNR3500L, http://www.netgear.co.uk/home/products/wirelessrouters/work-and-play/WNR3500L.aspx, or http://www.netgear.com/home/products/wirelessrouters/work-and-play/WNR3500L.aspx (for US) If you click the "Product Specs" link, it clearly states the router has 128mb nand (???? what) and 128mb ram. However, everything I see online says it has just 8mb nand and 64mb ram. Is this a new version? If so, how do I order one and be sure I will get it, as opposed to the old version?
And seeing as this will be the first "real" router I have bought, will having 128mb ram vs 64 have any real advantages? I want to be able  to do downloads overnight with it, and use it as a media server. what kind of usage scenario would require 128mb vs 64?

Thanks a lot for any assistance, I really cant find a router that is not very flawed within my price range...

EDIT cant get the links to work, you have to remove the <a> tag at the end

The WNR3500LV2 has 128 MB ram

The WNR3500LV2 has 128 MB ram 128MB flash , but is not supported by dd-wrt or tomato at this point and currently nobody is working on it, so support for this unit won't come fast.

Thanks, that clears that up,

Thanks, that clears that up, however how can they market the v2 version as an "open source router" still if there is no support within the opensource firmwares for it?
Ah well, I guess my search continues...
