Hello,
I'm not what's going on, but when I installed the dd-wrt on my R6300 today, my linksys wireless usb that used to connect to 450 mbps now drops to 250 mbps, which I don't like. I upgraded to this firmware because I used it before on older routers, but I want to know is there something I need to do? Otherwise I'll go back to the stock firmware.
I flashed dd-wrt on my r6300 and my speeds dropped very low as well, I started a thread about it, but there was no solution found and even reverting back to oem firmware didn't solve it. I took it back to bestbuy and exchanged it for a linksys EA6500. My speeds and Internet speeds have never been as fast as they are now.
Thanks for letting me know. That's crazy.
Can you please tell me how you reverted back to stock? I'm having an issue when I try to tftp the netgear stock firmware, it's coming back as connection refused or something. I ran the erase linux command a lot of times and then tried tftp, but same error.
