non-tech savvy user looking for help!
I'm running Tomato FW 1.28, and am having trouble with really slow speeds when using a vpn connection (occasional, and not set up in the router).
My ISP is Comcast and from searching the net, I'm not the only one with this vpn speed problem.
One of the suggestions I've seen is to "disable gateway smart packet detection", but I can't find anything like this in the router settings.
Could someone please point me in the right direction, or help me figure out what other settings I might need to change to get reasonable speed with the vpn.
Though comcast, I get 35Mbps, through the vpn it's 1Mbps, if I'm lucky.

My question was where this option is located in the Tomato settings.
I did, but that choice is not there in tomato, unfortunately.
Otherwise, I would have never asked the question.
