Ok, So I have upgraded to the 24865M build of DD-WRT by Kong to get my UPnP back. While UPnP appears to be working, the 5ghz band of the router keeps disappearing. I have to either reboot the router, or make some change under the wireless section of the GUI and hit apply to get it back. My setup is N-ONLY, CHANNEL 153, LOWER AND UPPER, IMPLICIT BEAMFORMING.
Anyone have any ideas whats going on?
This same firmware also suffers from random router reboots. Kong has stated elsewhere that he believes this to be a wireless driver issue from Broadcom. All I can say is that for now the newest firmware from Netgear is finally working very well and is better then DD-WRT as far as stability is concerned.
