How to allow for wireless access once in Bridge mode

Hi my name is Michael Hermenegildo, and I have bridged my router succesfully but it seems the custom software on the R7000 disables Wi Fi after bridging and only LAN ports work ... is this only for the stock firmware oe will custom firmware allow for wireless support in bridge mode as well?

Thank you for your time,

Cheers,

Michael Hermenegildo

Hi

Hi
Are you using the stock firmware of the R7000?
Using DDWRT to bridge a wireless network is possible and it works well.
My experience on this is the ddwrt devices can do what you are asking (bridge via wireless and then send another wireless signal back out, but it puts stress on the router causing them to slow down and in some cases freeze. Why not try repeater mode or repeater bridge (DDWRT)?

Sorry, could you be a bit more precise about which firmware you are using? And what steps you actually performed?

I will be waiting for your response.
