DD-WRT has finally gotten new wireless drivers and the R7000 does not have the reboot issues anymore. Works great, especially Kong's private build. Here is link to the lastest.

It is wonderfull! But how can I get Kong's private build?
Just use this link (http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-Arm/) and it will be latest kong privite bild?
Yes. He only keeps his latest at this site, unlike other areas of DD-WRT. right now it is 26120. Understand these are his test builds but he uses the R7000 for testing. Currently folks are saying guestnet does not work. Brainslayer supports many different routers.
I assume you are aware of the DD-WRT forums. Can get all the info and more there.

I was running DD-WRT on my R7000 but always had an issue with dropping connection every night aroung 11:45 exactly. The router never showed a reboot. But the 2 XBOXs would get kicked offline and the one wireless laser printer would just grab some random IP address that didnt make any sense. Even if i set the printer to have a static IP it would grab an address that didnt even exist on the network. Any thoughts why? Im wanting to try this new build to see if its fixed but that was very agitating. Could i have missed something entirely?
Hi all
Is there a change log?
There is not a change log. What they use is a system for tracking firmware changes. Here is the link to that. If you would go to the DD-WRT forums you would be able to find answers to your questions and lots more.

Uptime 1 day, 10 hours, no reboots. Kong`s 26120m. Awesome! First stable rom for me after kong`s 24345m. Stock firmware (1.0.3.80 or 1.0.4.15) hands up internet when I turn on PC wich use LAN. With this bild 26120m all worcks fine. Finnaly. Lets cross fingers to go BraynStaller with Kong go this way!
UPD. 26285 Kong uptime w\out errors and reboots more than 7 days.
How do I tell which build to apply to my R7000?
I see several builds with different names and a few with R7000 in the file name here http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-Arm/
Thanks!

ftp://ftp.dd-wrt.com/betas/2015/ this is Brayn Stayler bild.
Usial Kong's builds special for R7000 with some changes from official betas.
Anyone using the March builds that are currently out in http://www.desipro.de/ddwrt/K3-AC-Arm/? If so how is it? What build is the best overall choice?
Thanks!
I am using all latest builds and they are very stable. Latest build is always best for me.
The latest build is stable, Vlans are not quite working yet, the issue with separation was fixed but the secondary Vlan does not have any internet.
I am using kongs 26500 with netgear's R7000 I am having intermittent wireless connection issues with both 2.4 and 5 ghz I an using default setting except for the security. I am new to this stuff so bear with me... is there a firmware out there for the R7000 that's more stable? or is there more changes I should make?
Thanks

Yo...... i dont know what to do. i have a Netgear R7000 . I flashed DD-WRT v3.0-r28647 std (01/02/16). Works great . But............when i config an OPEN VPN the wifi stops working. I dont change any wireless settings, just set up the VPN in the SERVICES>OPEN VPN tabs and check status. Connection success. .........But no wifi anymore. I really dont know what I"m doing wrong. HELP!!!!!! Anybody??
I would pay money for a stable official Kong build for my R7000 if there was such a link .
Do I need to install an "initial" .chk using the current build (2016-11-10) or should I use the updated .chk (2016-11-15) file before updating to the bin?
