I am using this firmware in my R7000. DD-WRT v24-sp2 (01/17/15) std
(SVN revision 25948)

Are there any advantages to upgrading to a firmware that you have released 27261 ?
I am wondering about the differences.

Do any of these 3rd party firmwares remove the 32 devices limit per band on all NETGEAR routers?

DD-WRT "Kong Mod" for NETGEAR

DD-WRT "Kong Mod" for NETGEAR R7000 - K3 Jan 2015 version sucks. My Netgear R7000 router got bricked twice after rebooting from the DD-WRT UI.
