Problem restored from DD WRT to Netgear firmware

Hi,

I flashed the firmware to the lastest DD WRT but ran into some problems so I decided to switch back to Netgear firmware.

I followed every steps but now can't log-in to the router using the default username / password.

Does anyone know how DD WRT encrypt the password as I remember the password I set when I'm on WRT.

Per the below article

Per the below article (assuming you need the default Netgear info)
Access the router by using one of the following URLs - www.routerlogin.com or www.routerlogin.net
Username: admin
Password: password

Thanks da_Beast,

Thanks da_Beast,

That doesn't work, I have tried as many username/password combination I can think of / found online.

I believe the problem was that I set the router password while the router was on DD WRT, which encrypted it and doesn't reset back to default when flashed back.

Does a 30-30-30 reset work?

Does a 30-30-30 reset work? Can you telnet/ssh into it?

I had the same problem. I

I had the same problem. I went directly to 192.168.1.1 instead of www.routerlogin.net and that was the problem.
So use www.routerlogin.net first, let it do it's thing. After it was done it redirected me to enter an username and password. Here the default username and password worked perfectly fine.
