Yes, this is normal temperature. On my R7000 I get between 65 and 75C here. The SoCs are built to withstand high temps so you shouldn't worry much. If you do, buy a USB powered fan and let it blow on the back of the unit
FYI: I'm running Netgear R6300V2 with Firmware Version DD-WRT v3.0-r39960M kongac (06/08/19). After attached a USB powered fan to the back, I'm averaging around 50c. Not sure it was necessary, but I like my gear cool.
