Hi All,
First post, hoping for a quick reply. I am not a Linux guru or a router firmware expert so I am looking for an idiots guide on how to configure dd-wrt to connect to a SKY fibre internet service via a BT Openreach model. The modem was part of the original SKY setup which included an Old SageCom router that I am hoping to replace with my R7800 with dd-wrt installed.
So to date I have done:
1. Obtained my SKY broadband username and password from DHCP Discovery packets using Wireshark
2. Successfully flashed the R7800 with latest DD-WRT Kong Mod
Question is what do I have to do next to configure dd-wrt to connect to the SKY Fibre Internet services an step by step idiot guide would be much appreciated telling me the tabs and field setting I need to access and change to make it work
SKY uses DHCP authentication (MER)
many thanks
Ded
