Help please before I start head butting the wall

Hi

 

Got an R7000 running ddwrt . I have a vm superhub in modem mode attached to this. How do I get the port forwarding working. It worked before on original firmware. Ive got a CCTV dvr connected to the R7000. Ive port forwarded as usual ( ports to dvr local ip ) but cannot connect remotely. Ive also got openvpn setup on R7000 with VPN passthrough enabled. It seems to me like the wan to lan is not forwarding. Ive tried DDNS also with no avail.
