I have C6300 (using comcast xfinity). Which DDRT firmware am I suppose to use? Please help

I'd assume this wouldn't work, but if I don't get a reply in the next day or so I'll just try it with a spare C6300 I have lying around. Worst case scenario I brick it, and it goes from sitting on a back shelf not doing anything to the landfill. I'll post with results.

I have the same question. Just got the AC1750 C6300 (gift from a friend, brand new) and plugged it in - brand new internet setup of Xfinity (just moved in). Internet light won't come on. Tech came out & said internet is coming in through their coaix & issuee must be with box. Took box to a friend's (on RCN); it worked immediately. (Still using her wi-fi via my modem router so it's definitely functional.) Can only assume it needs a firmware update to work with Xfinity. It's currently on V1.02.21 & no option appears to update it at routerelogin.net. No option appeears on the Neetgear site; it says firmware updates are pushed by ISP. Xfinity says they won't push updates for equiptment that isn't there's; I checked with Verizon and they won't either. (The modem router works with RCN I know but unfortunately RCN isn't available in my area.) So I'm hoping I can update it myself in hopes that will resolve my issue with Xfinity...
