Stock and Kong on R7000 - Plex not working, any ideas?

I've been going in circles trying to get Plex working - I have the server on Win 10, I can connect and play videos by browser and Samsung SmartTV but I can't get my PS4 to play content. The PS4 will show the libraries, cover art and description but won't play the video (I get a black screen then an 'undefined error' messge).

Why am I posting this here? In breaking down the problem I connected the PS4 via cable to the same switch that the WIn10 machine is on - it works 100%, video and audio files play immediately with no issues, so I know my Plex server and PS4 are working OK. If I go to Wi-Fi or wired LAN on another floor in the house that is routed through the R7000 it won't play the video/audio file. I'm using Channel Master Ethernet over cable boxes on every floor to link everything - they have been rock solid for a few years. I don't suspect them, but they are in circuit when I use Wi-Fi of connect on another floor in the house.

With the stock firmware I tried Port Forwarding and ensuring the Win 10 system has a set IP address. An upgraded to the current Netgear firmware. Then I tried DD-WRT Kong V3.0-r32170m (latest release) and the PS4 will not play any media.

Are there any know issues with DD-WRT and routing UPnP traffic? Any other ides/area to check before going back to tsock and then Tomato?

Thanks,

Did you already add

Did you already add

rebind-domain-ok=/plex.direct/

to the Additional DNSMasq Options?

Thanks for responding.

Thanks for responding. Following your suggestion I added that and restarted the router. No change in behaviour.

FYIW I have 'No DNS Rebind' enabled, I get the same with that disabled as well.

*SOLVED* In the strange, but

*SOLVED* In the strange, but true department... The Channel Master 'tv-to-internet' (Coaxial Network Adapter 1 Port (CM6001)) MoCA 1.1 box was the problem, I power cycled it and it started working. Weird that only Plex server to PS4 traffic was affected, everything else worked 100%

MFW etc.
