Voxel - install additional linux packages?

Hi,

I consider buying Netgear R7800 router, I have read that Voxel firmware is much faster as it is a custom version of the stock image and supports Netgear's HW accelerations while DD WRT doesn't.

My question is:  is it possible to install additional linux packages (for example like: DD-WRT's ipkg) on Voxel's custom firmware?

If so - where can I see the list of packages?

The most important package that I need is: knock daemon.

Thank you very much in advance,

Best,

Shuki

It is possible to use Entware-3x (with USB disk). How to install: read my readme List is available when you click ENTWARE.

knockd is available:

Voxel.

Name Version Section Description
knock 0.7.8-1 net It listens to all traffic on an ethernet (or PPP) interface, looking for special "knock" sequences of port-hits. A client makes these port-hits by sending a TCP (or UDP) packet to a port on the server. This port need not be open -- since knockd listens at the link-layer level, it sees all traffic even if it's destined for a closed port. When the server detects a specific sequence of port-hits, it runs a command defined in its configuration file. This can be used to open up holes in a firewall for quick access. This package contains the port-knocking client.
