LAN ports stop working

Has anyone figued out yet how to fix the LAN connection dropping issue?  Every few days all my LAN ports just die and I have to reboot the router to get them communicating again.  Wireless is not affected.

I should clarify it happens

I should clarify it happens on Netgear, Kong, and Voxel firmwares.

This really sounds like a hardware issue if it's occurring regardles of the firmware you're using.  Is the location where the device rests relatively cool?  I'm not runing the most recent DD-WRT but I'm probably only a month or so behind, and I've never had a problem with any of the ethernet ports failing.  Another thing to consider is the switch/hub you plug into.  Good luck.

Oh, and cable, how is your ethernet run, near any power lines, devices with high RF bleed (microwaves, flourescent lighting, etc.).  You might check the interface stats and see if it's regularly catching send/receive errors.

Same problem here with Netgear, and Kong firmware. About every 12 to 24 hours all LAN ports stop communicating. Power cycle corrects the issue for another 12 to 24 hours.

I was really hoping the Kong

I was really hoping the Kong firmware would be a solution to this issue. We've had our R9000 Nighthawk for about 6 weeks, and it drops the ethernet connection multiple times a day. Netgear support has offered no solutions and for what we paid for this router I'd expect near perfection.

Sort of the same problem here

Sort of the same problem here... My FreeNAS won't connect any longer! I installed this firmware this afternoon and just noticed my NAS can't get a DHCP answer any longer. There's no abvious reason for it except the firmware installation (I was using the factory firmware up to now).
Anyone any ideas?

A year later and i've still

A year later and i've still got the lan port issue. Wifi works fine, lan ports stop allowing my devices to connect to the internet even though they are showing as connected and have a local IP. I just updated to the voxel firmware hoping it'll fix it, but if it doesn't, I'm ready to dump this piece of shit. This is a brand new replacement they sent me 2 weeks ago. My first one started shutting down randomly and all wifi devices would get disconnected and speeds were insanely bad. I'm starting to hate Netgear even though I loved my R7000 (which I still have and it still works but it won't support the number of devices and speeds I need).
