Kongs Firmware: DD-WRT v3.0-r38100M std (12/26/18)

Hello,

I flashed new R9000 with Kongs DDWRT v3.0-r38100m std (12/26/18), it was the most current at the time I flashed.  After trying the flash i was not totally comfortable with it and i decided I wanted to rollback to stock firmware so i could try new version or VOXEL's custom load.  I tried flashing Kongs ddwrt-netgear-9000 bin, i tried flashing kongs latest version 525. I tried flashing the latest netgear firmware, and also tried flashing Voxels latest custom build.   I have also tried 30/30/30 reset.  Nothing seems to overwrite the intial ddwrt install.  When I browse to the individual files that I am trying to flash and click upgrade, the process looks to start but then in my opinion the connection is disconnected to quickly.  Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.

Have you tried just a normal

Have you tried just a normal quick reset.

Iv'e found with mine the 30/30/30 reset is not helpful but a quick reset works. I switch firmwares a lot.

By the way I've been using

By the way I've been using Kongs latest (5/25) version and found it nearly doubled my openvpn speed over previous versions.

Hello Jfosella,

Hello Jfosella,

I did try a quick reset as well.  What did end up working for me was using Chrome vs Explorer.  Got Kong 5/25 up and running.  It ran approximately 24 hrs with my vpn (Nordvpn) then I started having trouble getting out.  Unable to browse or retreive email.  Did another quick reset and back up.  Will continue to monitor.  Thanks for the reply.

You could set this up and it

You could set this up and it would reboot automaically if needed.
