Nighthawk app

Just installed DD-WRT for R6700v3. Followed all instructions as per downloaded .CHK. My internet speed went up from 120 to whatever Verizon is giving (>200Mb). However, I have lost Highthawk app to control the router remotely. Any way i can reconnect this app to router with the new firmware?

No you cannot.

No you cannot.

NETGEAR proprietary software is not implemented in 3rd party firmware.

After a week or so, would you

After a week or so, would you mind letting us know what you think about DD-WRT on the R6700v3.

I'm still on the stock firmware and I've been hesitating making the leap to DD-WRT.

I don't work from home, which means that my wife and kids use the home internet more than I do! I'm interested in hearing more about DD-WRT stability from other users like y'all.

Thanks for sharing! I will

Thanks for sharing! I will definitely look into this once I make the leap to DD-WRT :)

DD-WRT on the R6700v3 worked

DD-WRT on the R6700v3 worked out of the box for almost all devices except IMac 2010 running iOS Sierra. It would connect to wifi but drop internet after 20 sec. The diagnostic would show that there is no issue with internet but no pages would load. So after investigating into the issue I found that DD-WRT would have wrong encryption settings for WIFI and had assigned channels for 2.4 and 5G. I changed encryption to WEP2-AES and channels to automatic since there are lots of networks that my Imac picks up which cause some interference with my network. I will look at the DD-WRT control apps.

Since I lost ReadyShare as well how can I make my USB printer sharable on DD_WRT? Is there PnP support/service that I can enable?
