Trying to install this now... do I need to download OPENWRT etc...? or can I just flash this onto the netgear? On 1.0.2.46. Try to upload the .img file. It hits 100, shows a page and then hiccups back to upload

Hi I'm newbie here is Voxel's firmware always based on newest official code or it's a folk/diverge at some point or there is a regular rebase/merge with the official code? Thanks.
I have been having all kinds of issues with my netgear r7800 uug. Signal dropping, devices dropping just awful. Where do I find the directions to install the newest voxel. I see the download zip file but nothing else? Can someone guide me to the instructions?
Do I back up my routers settings? And default back to original and then upload as if backup file or no? I do not want to brick it or take my router out. I know little more than the basics but I can read instructions to figure out and ask questions.
Hi to everybody, I had the firmware of Voxel since his first relase and everythings works perfectly; one question is it possible to installa a Plex server on our R7800 ?
