Cannot resolve lan names

I recently started using the dd-wrt firmware, and now I cannot ping local network names. I can ping the IP addresses directly, however. Also, I noticed that before, the DNS server would be set to the router, where as now that the router has dd-wrt, it is set to my ISP's dns server (which explains why local names don't resolve).

Anyone know how I get the router to act as the primary DNS so it will resolve my lan names?
