This is the firmware I'm using http://www.myopenrouter.com/download/dd-wrt-firmware-netgear-r6200-v2-7-....
My usage is pretty simple, up to 10 p2p downloads a day (tv shows), 4 phones (only 1 gets much use), 1 laptop, and a firetv. I have a USB hard drive that is attached directly to the router that I stream from.
After a day or two, I have to reboot the router because the proc pegs at 100%. I have it set to auto reboot every day, but still had issues today with buffering while streaming (I rebooted the firetv to resolve that), but I believe it's something to do with the networking side of things vs the OS on the firetv (or kodi).
The router is old, I get that. I went to dd-wrt because the stock firmware would also need rebooting every few days.
It does sound like it could be enviromental, but I'm not sure where else to look.
