DD-WRT R7000 VPN Clients disconnecting multiple times per hour.

I recently upgraded out routers to the 3-30-2016 firmware, and since then, we have had constant complaints about users outside the office disconnecting from the VPN in wondows to the router.  What could be causing this, and how could it be fixed?
