I flashed to Kong's DD-WRT mod last year to get around a bug with VLAN tagging on R7800 stock firmware causing wireless network isolation from wired. It works fine, but is slow.
If I move to Voxel and enable vlan tagging on wan interface (Centurylink gigabit service) can i expect the same issue since it's based on netgear firmware? I really don't want to go through the troubleshooting again only to have no way to fix things. My household tv's and devices heavily use a wired plex server and NAS from wifi and I don't want to get yelled at when things go offline again :)
Thanks
To help with this, you might install a external Gb ethernet swithc and put the plex server and NAS on this switch. Maybe even install a LAN to LAN connected wireless AP on this switch then have the TVs and devices connect to this section of the Network. A suggestion.
