I have two problem with my recently upgraded wnr3500L with netgear software V1.2.2.44_35.0.53NAV. I have an actual NAS that is hooked up through etherne and i used to access from the internet through FTP using DDNS. Before upgrade I had the ftp port forwarded to the NAS. everything was working and good.
Problem 1: AFter I upgraded I am no longer able to forward ftp port to my NAS. It says "port conflict." Any suggestions. This is with/without flash memory stick mounted. If flash is mounted ftp in not enabled.
Problem 2: If I install a memory stick in the WNR3500L i cant access my readyshare using http from the internet, but the same Http link works when i am connected on my home network. Is this implementation related?

The problem was that the new firmware deemed the old configuration settings useless. So factory reset was only option available even though you backed up your settings. The setting file format must be incompatible with the old format.
