I have two netgear wireless routers. I want to extend the range by connecting second router to first router through wireless. Is it possible? if yes please let me know?

Yes it is possible if your routers support client bridge or repeater bridge modes ..... It would b btr if u cud tell me which netgear rtrs u r using ....

Our Routers are Netgear WGR614V7. Both are the same models.
The Netgear wgr614 v8 factory firmware includes wireless repeating and wireless base station functions. I don't know about v7.
I m not sure abt v7 but these features r in v8 so must be there in v7 also ...
U need to check its GUI to see if this features are supported or not ...
netgear wgr614v7 does not support wds. Also there is no third party firmware for this model that supports wireless repeating function. Therefore you can not connect the two routers.
Is it necessary to use same model of 2 routers while joining them? I mean does difference in model reflects in the connectivity of the routers?
