Dark_Shadow, Have you tested the USB portion of the Unit?. If so can you successful mount part? and is it Basmaf Take2 compatible?.

Yes I have tested, but No, Basmaf says it needs support added by kong for OTRW2 ro work.
I have to wait for Brainslayer to publish the binary broadcom drivers for the 3.x kernel. He said, he will publish them once he has done most of the porting. I could use the asus/netgear sources, but it would be a waste of time to work with the 2.6 kernel. So I rather wait a few weeks until the drivers are up, with the 3.x kernel we will be able to use usbip, large drives ...

Well optware is something I have to discuss in the forum. Since I don't use optware as some use it. I use openwrt packages through opkg, but not packages that get pulled in by some custom scripts.
