@Peter, as always, thank you for updating the download section.
Hi kt,
yes wirtual interfaces are currently not working and lock up some units at boottime.
Yes.
Wireless issues from previous build fixed.
Signal improved, SNR 30+ db (was 20+ db)!
Good work, thanks guys!
There seems to be a remaining problem with PPPoE, at least for me.
When my ADSL modem drops the connection there is no auto-reconnect.
I need to click "Connect" button in web gui, after that wireless is reset.
It needs more testing, but it happened just few mins ago (my ISP dcs my modem every 24h to change IP)
Auto Reconnect works fine for me. Try to reboot and test again, you can also check trough telnet or ssh if there is a process running:
/tmp/ppp/redial 30
Force reconnect works.
ATM no /tmp/ppp/redial 30 process, will check after reboot.
I'm going to test a fix tonight for the virtual wireless interface crash . If the test works, there will be a new build tonight or tomorrow.
Updating as we speak--thanks as always, Kong! Let us know when the fix comes out and I can update then as well.
I'm quite sure my PPPoE bug is not fixed.
There is a process present:
/tmp/ppp/redial 30
however in case of disconnect reconnecting doesnt occur.
I need to click "Connect" in web gui. This click causes the wifi network to go down for 20-30 secs, after that time it reappears, my pc reconnects to it and PPPoE session is reestablished.
Test:
Unplug the ADSL modem from ADSL line, wait 20secs, replug.
Result:
GUI shows WAN connected, old IP address config still present.
Uptime counter increasing.
No internet connectivity.
Test2:
WAN connected.
Click WAN disconnect, wait till it shows "Disconnected"
Click Connect.
Result:
Wifi goes down for 20-30 secs, after reestablishing connectivity WAN is up.
Something is really wrong here :(
I'm not sure if I use it the right way, but it seems that:
launching /tmp/ppp/ip-down from telnet does nothing,
/tmp/ppp/ip-up and /tmp/ppp/redial gives Segmentation fault
Idk if this is revelant, I want to help in any way I can :)
Hi darekxan,
are you using the minidlna or openvpn build?
How much nvram do you have left, run command:
nvram show | grep left
root@DD-WRT:~# nvram show | grep left
size: 20438 bytes (12330 left)
root@DD-WRT:~#
minidlna build here :)
Ok found it, will be fixed tonight.
Thanks for noticing before I was affected, since I'm on PPPOE too:-)
Details can be seen here: http://svn.dd-wrt.com:8000/ticket/2030
Thanks!
